The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority: pension reform

Overview

The purpose of this consultation is to gather views on the proposed approach that will enable the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority to implement pension reform. The pension reform will apply to members of the Civil Nuclear Pension Plan (CNPP) and the SLC section of the Magnox Electric Group of the Electricity Supply Pension Scheme (MEG-ESPS) only.

We are keen for views on the proposed approach and equality impacts from:

• members of the CNPP and MEG-ESPS
• pension industry professionals
• pension scheme trustees
• industry
• member representative organisations. 

We also welcome views from any other interested parties.
