Green Heat Network Fund: Consultation on proposals for scheme design

Closed 29 Jan 2021

Opened 30 Nov 2020

Overview

We are seeking your views on the design of the Green Heat Network Fund. Our consultation document sets out our indicative proposals for the following:

  • the overall operation of  the scheme;
  • what types of networks and technologies the fund should support;
  • how applications should be assessed and scored;
  • how we can optimise the impact that the fund has on the heat network market;
  • how we can ensure that consumers are treated fairly by the heat networks that receive support from the scheme.

Why your views matter

The Green Heat Network Fund is intended to help new and existing heat networks adopt low carbon technologies. We are gathering public views and, where available, evidence in support of or in opposition to our indicative proposals for scheme design.
